ISTITUTO NAZIONALE PER IL COMMERCIO ESTERO
The italian Institute for Foreign Trade (ICE) is the public authority that promotes,
fosters and develops trade relations between Italy and other nations, assisting
Italian enterprise in the process of internationalization and establishment in overseas
markets, supporting the flow of incoming and outgoing production investments.
Moreover, the ICE offers intense training courses for Italian and foreign
managers who operate on international markets for promotion of the Made in Italy
sector. From its head offices in Rome, the ICE operates through its vast network
of operating units: 17 in Italy and 117 abroad, in 87 countries worldwide. The
National Information System for Overseas Trade, accessible through the portal
www.ice.gov.it, facilitates the ongoing exchange of data on the network.
Overseas companies also contact the ICE through www.italtrade.com to obtain
information and assistance, and through www.campus.ice.it for training.
